Hesperia Church
of the Nazarene was established in 1984 by founding pastor Jerry Riddle. Pastor David J. Penn is the current pastor of the
church. Dave arrived in Hesperia back in 1989, along with his wife, Ruth, and their children Lisa, Cristy, and David. Both
Dave and Ruth grew up in Africa on Nazarene missions fields. Prior to coming to Hesperia, Dave pastored a church in Racine,
Wisconsin. Dave has been actively involved in the community and is constantly seeking opportunities to minister to people
both inside and outside our church.
We are excited about the growth potential
for our church. The City of Hesperia is expected to double its population within the next 5 years. Many new homes are being
built in close proximity to our church. We believe God has great plans to use our church to minister to our growing community.
"Our Mission" is to bring Christ to people, disciple them and commission them
in service. We do this by coming to Christ, being discipled and commissioned in service.
